Our approach
Most of the industry is organized around activity — deals closed, assets raised, quarters reported. We organized Coastal Holdings around the opposite: doing very little, very deliberately, with capital that doesn't need to be anywhere by Friday.
That means we say no to almost everything. It means our research moves slowly and our partnerships are few. And it means the operators we do back can count on us through the parts of the cycle that don't make headlines.
